Campfires and Homefires ,Poquoson Va. Sept, 24th 2011
Poquoson History Museum and Historical Society sponsored a wonderful Sesquicentennial event . The event included Civil war soldiers from both sides with artillery and camp life living history displays.A Civil War band played while reenactors danced the Virginia Reel and a late night Poquoson Ghost Story of Dolly Mammy was given by Barbra Whitlow to an audience of 80 people.
